Hacienda Skyhawk at McCarran




In 1959 this Cessna 172 Skyhawk airplane spent 64 days 22 hours 19 minutes and 5 seconds in the air. The red Thunderbird, once owned by Howard Hughes, was used to fuel it. Longest flight ever. Sponsored by the old Hacienda Hotel.
